When my dad was in the hospital getting dialysis and what not in the beginning of his cancer journey he was super out of it too. Doctor asked him some general questions- “What year were you born?”, “How old are you?”, “What year is it?”. All of which he got wrong.

Finally the doctor asked him “Do you know who’s president right now?” And Dad glared at the doctor and growled “Donald fuckin Trump”.

Then he went back to happily eating his fruit cup.
